For families who prefer a more personal setting, we also offer in-home newborn sessions, capturing these special moments in the comfort of your own space where your story naturally unfolds.

Located in Nampa, our cozy lifestyle newborn studio welcomes families from across Boise and the Treasure Valley who are looking for timeless, connection-focused newborn photography. Designed with comfort in mind, our studio offers a bright, neutral space where parents can relax while we capture some of your family's very first memories together.
Our studio was intentionally created for lifestyle newborn photography, with soft natural light, timeless furnishings, and a calm environment that keeps the focus on your growing family instead of elaborate props. The result is a gallery of genuine, heartfelt images that will never go out of style.
Everything you need for your newborn session is included. Families have access to a carefully curated collection of newborn outfits, beautiful wraps in a variety of colors, and simple accessories that complement your baby without overwhelming the photographs. Our goal is to create images that feel natural, elegant, and uniquely yours.
Because we know life with a newborn can be unpredictable, we never rush your session. There's plenty of time for feeding, diaper changes, soothing, and cuddles whenever your baby needs a break. We want every family to feel comfortable from the moment they arrive until they leave.
Although our studio is located in Nampa, we proudly photograph newborns for families throughout Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Star, Kuna, Caldwell, and the surrounding Treasure Valley. Many of our Boise clients choose to make the short drive because they love our timeless editing style, relaxed experience, and naturally lit studio.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
The best time to book your newborn photography session is during your second or third trimester. This helps ensure we have availability around your due date, even if your baby arrives earlier or later than expected. We typically photograph newborns within the first two weeks after birth, but if your baby has already arrived, don't worry! Reach out anyway, and we'll do our best to fit you into our schedule.
WHERE DO NEWBORN SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
Most newborn sessions take place in our cozy lifestyle studio located in Nampa, where we've created a bright, welcoming space designed specifically for timeless newborn photography. Our studio serves families throughout Boise and the Treasure Valley who are looking for a relaxed, connection-focused newborn experience.
If you would prefer the comfort of your own home, we also offer in-home newborn sessions for an additional $75 anywhere within the Treasure Valley. We bring our professional lighting equipment and adapt to your home's natural environment to create beautiful, heartfelt images in the place where your family's story is just beginning. For locations outside the Treasure Valley, additional travel fees may apply.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR FOR OUR NEWBORN SESSION?
We want your newborn session to feel timeless, natural, and focused on your family's connection. Every newborn session includes access to our newborn client closet, featuring a curated selection of baby outfits and soft wraps in a variety of beautiful, neutral colors. You're also welcome to bring a special outfit of your own if there's something meaningful you'd like your baby photographed in.
We do not provide a client wardrobe for parents, so we recommend wearing light neutral colors such as whites, creams, beige, and light browns. Coordinating your outfits without matching exactly creates a beautiful, timeless look, while incorporating different textures can add depth and visual interest to your photos. We also suggest avoiding large logos, bold graphics, or bright patterns to help keep the focus on your family and your newest little one.
CAN PARENTS AND SIBLINGS BE INCLUDED IN OUR NEWBORN SESSION?
Absolutely! We encourage parents to be part of every newborn session because these are some of the most meaningful memories you'll ever have together. Parent portraits are included in every newborn session at no additional cost, allowing us to capture the love and connection you already share with your newest little one.
Siblings are also welcome to participate! If you'd like to include your children and create full family portraits, sibling participation can be added for an additional $50. We love capturing the excitement of a growing family and creating images that celebrate this special season of life for everyone involved.
HOW DO I RESERVE MY SESSION?
A $100 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your newborn session. This retainer is applied toward your total session balance, with the remaining balance due any time before your session.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH MATERNITY OR FRESH 48 SESSIONS?
Yes! We love documenting every stage of your growing family's journey. In addition to newborn photography, we also offer maternity sessions, Fresh 48 hospital sessions, family photography, and milestone sessions throughout your baby's first year.
WHAT IF MY BABY CRIES OR WON'T SLEEP?
Please don't worry - this is completely normal! Every newborn is different, and we expect babies to need extra time for feeding, soothing, cuddles, and diaper changes throughout the session. We never rush the experience and always follow your baby's lead. Whether your little one sleeps the entire session or spends most of it wide awake, we'll create beautiful, meaningful photographs that reflect this special season of life.
WHAT IF MY BABY ARRIVES EARLY OR LATE?
No worries at all! We understand that babies arrive on their own schedule, which is why we reserve your newborn session based on your estimated due date rather than scheduling a specific session date in advance. Once your little one arrives, simply let us know, and we'll work with you to choose a session date - ideally within the first two weeks after birth.
By waiting until after your baby is born to schedule the exact date, we're able to provide flexibility for both early and late arrivals while ensuring we capture your newborn during this special stage whenever possible.
